The logistics sector in Zaragoza is continuing to grow. In 2022, 165,000 square metres of logistics space was leased in the municipality, up by 30% compared to 2021 and 2020, according to data from CBRE. Activity intensified during the last quarter, with 67,000 square metres of space leased. By area, the Plaza Logistics Platform accounted for almost 130,000 square metres of the total.
For the second year in a row, the logistics segment registered record demand nationwide, closing 2022 with a total of 2.82 million square metres leased (including in Valencia, Zaragoza, Sevilla, Málaga and Bilbao, as well as in the most active logistics hubs in the country, specifically, the Central Area and Cataluña).
