Aviva Investors has announced the acquisition of a turnkey residential development comprising 234 units in Spain from the developer Vía Ágora, as it continues to develop its build-to-rent platform in Spain in collaboration with Layetana Living (‘Layetana’). The development is expected to be completed by mid-2025. Aviva Investors was advised by Knight Frank and Ashurst during the transaction.
Located in the Valdebebas area of Madrid, a premium multifamily zone on the eastern outskirts of the city, the project will offer 234 units, all with terraces, consisting of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments spread across ten floors and two basements.
With views overlooking 340 hectares of green spaces and the Madrid skyline, the project will focus on sustainability, aiming to achieve an ‘Excellent’ Breeam rating. The complex will provide residents with over 450 square meters of communal areas, including a gym, coworking spaces, a residents’ lounge, and dining areas. Outside, there will be a communal pool area, paddle tennis courts, and a rooftop terrace.
