The Hedge Fund Helikon Increases its Stake in Aedas Homes to 5%

The British fund has become the third-largest shareholder in the property developer, behind the majority shareholder, Castlelake, and UBS.

The hedge fund Helikon Investment, managed by the Italian investor Federico Riggio and based in Dublin, has increased its stake in the listed property developer Aedas Homes to 5.042%. Its percentage is valued at 45.5 million euros according to market prices.

Helikon Investment had already formalised its entry into the Spanish real estate company in June, when it bought 3.05% of the share capital, valued, at the time of the acquisition, at 21.3 million euros. In November 2020 it increased its stake to 3.2%.
