Sonae Sierra closed 2022 with 113 new rental contracts in the shopping centres it manages in Spain. That figure represents a 49% increase compared to the previous year and corresponds to a gross leasable area of 39,175 square metres, in total, which translates into an occupancy rate of over 98%.
“These figures are proof of the interest that the major domestic and international brands continue to have in the services and professionalism of Sonae Sierra, which, for yet another year, has continued to focus on satisfying the needs of consumers by adapting its commercial offer to new trends”, said Alberto Bravo, Director of the Property Management division of Sonae Sierra for Spain and Portugal.
