Sareb, the company created at the height of the previous economic crisis to manage and sell the most problematic assets from the rescued financial institutions, has taken the first step towards the construction of between 10,000 and 15,000 affordable rental homes over the medium term.
The company, which has been in the hands of the FROB since April, has launched a tender for two public contracts “to assess the suitability of launching a tender for the transfer of land owned by Sareb”, according to El Confidencial and confirmed by Brainsre.news.
