Investment in the supermarket sector in Spain is set to reach a new record in 2020. Total investment of more than 640 million euros is expected, according to a report entitled “The food market in Spain“, published by Savills Aguirre Newman.
That volume exceeds the figure registered in 2019 by 460 million euros. “The great resistance of the food sector in the face of the health crisis has made this type of asset a good option for private and institutional investors,” says the consultancy.
