Prologis Spain closed 2022 with record figures in terms of its occupancy rate of 99.2%. In total, the multinational ended last year with a portfolio spanning 1.5 million square metres and comprising 83 managed buildings, including the assets it acquired from the Crossbay portfolio.
The three markets in which Prologis focuses its activity, Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, performed positively compared to the figures for 2021. In this way, by the end of 2022, Prologis owned 771,247 square metres in Madrid, across 43 buildings with an occupancy rate of 98%. In Barcelona, its stock spanned 554,014 square metres, across 27 buildings with a 100% occupancy rate. Finally, in Valencia, the portfolio spanned 91,098 square metres, across nine buildings and a 100% occupancy rate. It should be added that, due to the acquisition of the Crossbay portfolio, Prologis now also owns assets in other Spanish cities such as Sevilla and Vigo.
