After five months on the rise, the number of house sales fell by 20.1% in April compared to the previous month, making it the lowest month for residential sales since October 2021.
According to the National Institute of Statistics, 47,349 house sales were recorded in April. Although that figure represented a month-on-month decrease, it was 11.9% higher than in April 2021, and in cumulative annual terms, house sales were up by 23.1%.
