According to a report published by Sociedad de Tasación about the evolution of house prices during the first half of 2020, the average price of new and second-hand housing in Spain at the end of June 2020 was €1,681/m2, up by 2.7% compared to the same month in 2019.
If we focus on the Mediterranean strip, excluding Cataluña, average house prices amounted to €1,270/m2 in the Community of Valencia and €1,079/m2 in Murcia. In line with the national trend, these prices represent an increase compared to the same period last year of 2.2% and 2%, respectively. They also represent an increase of 0.9% in both the Community of Valencia and Murcia during the first half of 2020 to June.
