Last Monday, Getafe Town Hall approved the Special Plan that regulates the development of the new Imagina Retail Park, located on Paseo de John Lennon, on the corner of Calle Carpinteros in the Madrilenian town. The project, which is being marketed by the consulting firm Area, will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023 and agreements have already been signed with top-tier operators, both in the restaurant and food distribution sectors.
Located just 11 kilometres from the centre of the Spanish capital and very close to the urban centre of the city of Getafe, the new shopping centre will be situated next to the new Los Molinos residential development, as well as the main access roads into Getafe. The land where the new project is located is also near the Air Barracks (ACAR), belonging to the Ministry of Defence, which has reached an agreement with the city council of the Madrilenian town to acquire the plot.
