DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in the logistics industry, has announced its move to the World Trade Center Almeda Park business park in Cornellà, Barcelona. The German company is going to use the new space to create an IT centre of excellence that will provide a global service.
DHL started searching for new premises in March, during the height of the lockdown due to Covid-19. “This shows that companies have not curbed their activity or interest in the Barcelona office market,” explains Albert Feixas, from Cushman & Wakefield’s Office Agency in Spain. The company has signed a five-year contract and will move in over the next few months.
