After more than a year of exclusive negotiations, Cerberus – the current owner of Haya Real Estate – has broken off its talks with Centricus regarding the purchase of the servicer. The fund has decided to consider other offers and is trying to relaunch the sale process, according to Cinco Días.
After the unsuccessful attempt to list the banks’ property manager for more than €1 billion in 2018, Cerberus, which has grouped together the property management companies of Bankia and Liberbank, amongst others, into Haya Real Estate, then decided to try its luck with a private sale.
