The company Best Wonder Business (BWB) is going to develop a new data centre on a plot located on the Huesca Logistics Platform. The centre will be powered by solar energy produced by four photovoltaic plants that are going to be installed in the province. The total investment in the project amounts to 230 million euros, of which 130 million euros will be allocated to the development of the new data centre.
This is the first data centre to be powered 100% by photovoltaic renewable energy in the region of Aragón, which will generate 200 direct jobs once it has been built and more than 2,200 during the construction process. The operation has been advised by the consulting firm Colliers.
