Aviva Investors & Layetana Living Create a Company to Supply 2,000 Rental Homes

The objective is to create a portfolio worth more than 500 million euros and, to this end, they have already completed the construction of a 71-unit building in Barcelona.

Aviva Investors, the global asset management arm of Aviva plc (the sixth largest insurer in the world), and the Spanish developer Layetana Living have joined forces to create a new company that will be used to promote a portfolio of rental homes (build to rent) in Spain.

The new company, whose objective is to generate a portfolio worth more than 500 million euros comprising around 2,000 homes in total (all of them BTR), has already completed its first development project by acquiring a residential development in Barcelona upon the advice of the consulting firm Knight Frank.
