The real estate sector is still refusing to slow down in 2022. In October, 48,745 homes were bought and sold in a new acceleration of the statistics that represented an improvement of 9.7% compared to the same month a year earlier, according to Property Registry Statistics published on Wednesday by the College of Registrars, and after negative values had been recorded in September.
By autonomous region, only four regions registered fewer home sales in October this year than during the same month in 2021, specifically: the Balearic Islands, with a year-on-year decrease of -20.9%; La Rioja (-11.8%); Castilla-La Mancha (-1.5%) and Cantabria (-0.7%).
