Inditex is going to invest 238 million euros in a new building spanning 170,000 m2, which will be the base for Zara’s commercial and design teams at the textile group’s headquarters in Arteixo (A Coruña), as reported by the company.
Construction of the building is expected to begin this month, in compliance with the corresponding administrative procedures, and to take around two years.
The new building, which will comprise five storeys plus two floors for parking, has been designed by the Batlleiroig architecture studio, which was also responsible for the recent expansion of the company’s facilities in the same municipality of Galicia and for several of its brands’ headquarters.
