The volume of house sales in Spain increased by 38.1% in 2021 compared to the previous year, to reach 676,775 units. In addition, the average price per square metre reached 1,507 euros, which represents an increase of 5.3%, as reported by the General Council of Notaries on Thursday.
Specifically, the sale of flats rose by 38.2% year-on-year, to 507,209 units, whilst the sale of houses rose by 37.8%, to 169,566 units.
