The average house price in Spain currently stands at 1,966 euros per square metre, which represents a year-on-year increase of 5.3%. In addition, compared to the previous quarter, the average house price has risen by 2.6%.
Specifically, the price of a new-build home in Spain amounts to 2,643 euros per square metre, on average, up by 7.2% compared to a year ago and by 0.1% compared to three months ago. Meanwhile, the price of a second-hand home has risen by 5.3% in annual terms and by 2.6% in quarterly terms, to reach 1,960 euros per square metre.
