64% of holiday rental homeowners in Spain have decided to switch their properties to residential rentals as a result of the pandemic, according to a study by the real estate portal Fotocasa.
Before the health crisis, the group of owners who rented some of their homes for holiday stays was relatively small: 6%. Now, their situation has radically changed as a result of the fall in tourism and the mobility restrictions imposed in recent months.
