During the course of 2022 to date, a total of 65,150 new homes have been started in Spain, according to data from the Brainsre real estate big data platform.
The municipalities that are home to the greatest number of newly built units are: Madrid (4,579), Málaga (1,611), Valencia (1,399), Valdemoro (1,357) and Sevilla (1,355).
