New-build housing in Madrid has become the most sought-after asset among people looking to buy a new home after the pandemic.
The characteristics of the transactions, including payment plans that extend beyond the delivery date, are the main reasons buyers opt for this product, which is scarce in the capital.
According to data from the real estate big data platform Brainsre, 14,910 homes are expected to be completed in 2021 throughout the Madrid region, distributed across 376 developments. More than six thousand (specifically 6,228) are located in Madrid city, spread across 130 projects.
The top 10 real estate developer will deliver almost 5,000 units (4,876 to be precise).
