VGP has purchased 35,000 m2 of logistics land in the towns of Martorell and Granollers in Barcelona, according to the developer, operator and owner of logistics and industrial assets. Specifically, the plot covers 20,000 m2 and is located less than 30 km from Barcelona.
Joan Lacosta, Country Manager for VGP Spain, said that «Martorell is an absolutely prime location, in an area with excellent business activity that is amplified by the existence of the supplier park that feeds the Seat factory.»
This area is in addition to VGP’s latest acquisition in Granollers, in the Coll de la Manya industrial estate. It is consolidated urban land for industrial-logistic use with a surface area of 15,000 m2, with the capacity to house a 9,000 m2 building.
