The University of Barcelona is auctioning a student residence for 19 million euros. Bids for the public auction are open until January 14, 2022.
The residence hall is located at 7-9 Calle Can Ràbia, in the district of Sarrià i Sant Gervasi; close to the public and private university campuses; and a prime location in Barcelona. It has 225 places, a divisible auditorium with the capacity for 200 people, classrooms and areas for sports. It is currently known as the Colegio Mayor San Jordi.
The asset has a built surface area of 8,110 square metres and consists of two buildings. The first has two basement floors, a ground floor and seven upper floors. The other has two basement floors, a ground floor and three upper floors. These buildings are connected on the ground floor and basement levels.
According to the Sociedad de la Tasación, the property has “a high construction quality, in a very good state of conservation, and a wide range of services….”
