The Hotel Galeón, located in Puerto de Pollença, has been acquired by Toni Nadal, the uncle of the Mallorcan tennis player Rafa Nadal. The operation was closed with the Cusí family in November, although the agreement dates back to the summer, according to the newspaper Som Pollença.
The property is an aparthotel made up of 14 units, which has been operated by the hotelier Jaume Salas, President of the Pollença hotel association, for the last eleven years. The new owner, together with a group of architects and a consultant, will subject the property to a complete renovation with the aim of turning it into an iconic establishment.
