Thor Equities has finalised its acquisition of a 3,000-m2 logistics warehouse in Moncada i Reixach (Barcelona). The asset is currently occupied by the automotive accessories company, Acritoma, according to Property EU.
However, the deal is not an isolated event. It is rather part of the expansion plan that the company is undertaking in the Spanish market. In less than a year, it has acquired more than a dozen logistics assets in the country.
At the end of 2020, Thor Equities bought a logistics portfolio consisting of three industrial warehouses located in Barcelona and Seville from a local family office. One of the newly built warehouses is located in the Pratenc Industrial Estate in El Prat de Llobregat, another in the Llobregat Industrial Estate in Castellbisbal and the third in Dos Hermana (Seville).
Last December, the fund also acquired a logistics warehouse and land for a new development in the La Postura industrial estate in Valdemoro (Madrid). The asset was owned by a private investor and is occupied by SEAT. The property acquired has a surface area of 31,000 square metres, and the plot has 7,500 square metres.
