The city of Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) is recovering a key environment in its recent history and in this context, the socio-healthcare and hospital space developer Thor Private Equity Spain has acquired a plot of land from it. Until less than ten years ago, the plot housed the Palmera Plaza Hotel, but now Thor will develop a new building on the site for the healthcare segment.
Following a public tender that took place in August, Thor acquired the plot, which spans 4,714 square metres and which is located on Calle Pizarro. That deal followed an operation carried out in March when Thor purchased the hotel complex from businessman José Luis López. As such, the private equity company now has the entire site at its disposal.
