The bells will be ringing on the Spanish stock market this year. During 2022, 17 real estate companies are due to be listed under the Socimi regime, in line with the volume that made their debut last year, according to the firm ArmanexT.
Of the listed real estate investment companies that debuted on the Stock Exchange in 2021, 5 did so on BME Growth -designed for growing companies- and 12 on Euronext. On average, these firms made their stock market debuts with between 6 to 20 assets; more than 50% of their capital from foreign origins; a debt leverage ratio of 35%; and 69% of their investments located outside of Madrid and Barcelona, according to the VI Analysis of the Evolution of SOCIMIs prepared by ArmanexT.
