The price of new-build and second-hand housing in Spain increased by 6.2% year-on-year in January 2022, as reported by the appraisal company Tinsa on Friday.
Prices in Spain’s provincial capitals and large cities increased by 5.2% compared to the first month of 2021, whilst on the Mediterranean coast they rose by 6.2%. In addition, on the islands, prices jumped by 7.3% and in the metropolitan areas by 7%. In other municipalities, namely, in smaller inland towns and on the Atlantic coast, prices increased by 7.6%.
