On Tuesday, the Council of Ministers will approve the extension of rental contracts and the deferrals or restructurings of debt for tenants of homes owned by large landlords or public entities.
Likewise, it is expected that the moratorium on mortgages and consumer loans will be extended next week, by virtue of the agreement reached between Unidos Podemos and the PSOE through the coalition. So far, some 600,000 people have benefited from this measure, which was adopted to alleviate the effects of Covid. It allows borrowers to avoid repaying the bulk of their loans for at least three months.
