The Government is studying the possibility of extending the suspension period for home evictions, according to VozPopuli, citing ministerial sources.
The evolution of the economic situation could provide ammunition for the Executive to extend the period during which evictions are suspended. Sources at Asval, the largest major rental homeowners’ association, with more than 500 members owning a total of 35,000 homes, point out that non-performing loans have increased from 5% to 15%, according to a study prepared by Asval itself.
