The Constitutional Court has voted in favor of the appeal presented by the PP regarding the Housing Act in Cataluña, which, among other things, addresses the obligation to reduce rental prices in areas considered “stressed”.
In a unanimous decision, the representatives of the Constitutional Court believe that the Catalan Housing Act infringes upon state powers. The resource presented by the Popular Party referred specifically to seven articles from the Act approved two years ago that allude to the regulation of rental prices in stressed areas.
