The Auction of Reyal Urbis’s Assets Worth €220 Million Proves Unsuccessful

Cerberus, Apollo and La Finca were thought to be interested in acquiring the lot of assets being sold by the company that has filed for liquidation.

The auction of a lot of hotels, office buildings and land by Reyal Urbis has been unsuccessful. The bankruptcy administrator put the lot on the market for 220 million euros.

The final day for the interested parties to submit their proposals to the College of Attorneys and the Mercantile Court No. 6 of Madrid was 21 December 2021. In recent months, it has been reported that Cerberus, Apollo and La Finca participated in the tender. Their offers were thought to range from 225 million euros to 240 million euros. However, despite their interest, none of the offers ended up materializing.
