
There are currently 47.3 million inhabitants in Spain. Over the next 15 years, the country is expected to gain 954,497 inhabitants, which will represent a population increase of 2%, according to INE data compiled by the real estate big data platform Brains RE.
Moreover, the number of people aged over 64 is expected to continue growing if current demographic trends continue, which would make Spain the fourth-ranked country by elderly population in the European Union.
