Silken has added a fourth hotel to its portfolio in the Canary Islands, the third with the SaaJ Hotels brand. The emblematic Hotel Martiánez in Puerto de la Cruz will reopen its doors after 20 years after being bought by the Bhagvanji family, owner of the firm SaaJ Hotels Invest, which will reposition the asset before reopening it to the public. The Indian family office will once again place its trust in Silken to manage the hotel, according to El Confidencial.
The new acquisition by the Indian family office represents the reinforcement of the alliance between Saaj and Silken. The brands are already working together on three other four-star, adult-only assets: the Silken SaaJ Maar (Puerto de la Cruz), which will open in spring, as planned, and the Silken SaaJ Las Palmas (Palmas de Gran Canaria).
