Roger Cooke, who was recently elected Chairman of the Board of RICS Spain – the real estate accreditation organisation -, has explained that he intends to focus the firm’s strategy on two main lines of action: one geographic and the other involving specialisations.
In terms of geography, the RICS President, who was appointed at the end of January, has decided to boost his firm’s activity in Cataluña, «although we will also look at Andalucía and the Levante area -Valencia and Alicante», he said. The second line, that of specialisations, will focus on creating groups by sector; initially for the valuation, construction and residential segments. Each one of them will include transversals themes such as sustainability and proptech, amongst others.
