The Spanish retail sector has performed well this year. Investment in the segment has been strong over the last twelve months, according to the latest report published by the consultancy BNP Paribas Real Estate. The study shows the evolution of real estate investment, trends in the sector and how retailers are responding to the challenges being presented.
Across Europe, the market has grown by 20% over the last year, with a total investment volume of 44.2 billion euros. “This figure represents a market share of 15% of the total investment in real estate in Europe, up by 1% compared to the previous year.
