In total, 39,304 residential mortgages were registered in the property registers in November 2022, up by 9.3% compared to the same month a year earlier. In addition, the average amount loaned was 147,673 euros, which represents an annual increase of 5.8%, as reported by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) on Wednesday.
In total, the value of the mortgages constituted over homes amounted to 5.8 billion euros, 15.6% more than in November 2021.
