Investment in the residential rental market (BTR and PRS) exceeded €530 million during the first three months of 2021 in Spain. According to Savills Aguirre Newman, investments maintained their upward trajectory in one of the most resilient sectors of 2020, which saw €1.7 billion in transactions.
The operations registered in the first quarter of the year will mean the beginning of construction on more than 2,000 new homes, in addition to the approximately 5,300 planned in build to rent projects started in 2020.
