
The cultural offering of the Matadero; the location of the Google campus and the future opening of the offices to be built by Colonial, with the headquarters of Catalana Occidente as the flagship; and, above all, the rapid appreciation of the price of new-build homes is converting the district of Arganzuela in Madrid into a strong future contender to compete with the north of the Spanish capital.
According to a report prepared by the consulting firm CBRE, large companies in the industrial and energy sector, together with those from the public sector occupy 54% of the total office space in the district. The authors of the report have not assessed the impact of Covid on this sub-market, but they do acknowledge that the uncertainty it generates is affecting their ability to be exact when it comes to estimates.
