
The average occupancy rate of tourist homes in the main destinations across Spain will fall by 47.5% in July and August, from 84.2% in 2019 to 36.7% this year, according to forecasts by the Spanish Federation of Associations of Tourist Homes and Apartments (Fevitur).
The tourist housing sector (VUTs) predicts losses of 3 billion euros when the current year ends, according to Tolo Gomila, President of the Association, in comments to Brainsre.news.
