The French fund Remake has completed the purchase of three properties, one in Barcelona and two others in Bilbao and San Sebastián, for a total amount exceeding 41 million euros, according to Idealista News. The transacted buildings house technology and science-focused companies.
The Barcelona property is located in the municipality of Terrassa and consists of an 8,500 square meter research and technology center. The purchase of this property was made through a sale and leaseback agreement, which means that the current tenant, the Leitar Foundation, dedicated to research, development, and technological innovation in various economic sectors, will continue to operate in the location for at least 30 years. Remake paid 24.5 million euros for this asset, which is located 30 kilometers from Barcelona and has a yield of 7.15%.
Under the same conditions, Remake also acquired the other two properties in the Basque Country. These buildings are occupied by Ibermática, a company specialized in technology research services, and have a total area of 11,000 square meters. These properties are located in San Sebastián and Bilbao, and the closing price of the transaction was 16.8 million euros.
