The weakening of activity limited the growth of real estate agents and consultants in 2019, which closed the year with revenues of €2.6 billion, up by just 3% compared to 2018, and well below the double-digit growth rates that had been registered in the sector.
According to DBK Informa’s Sector Observatory, the business generated by all of the real estate agents totalled €2.2 billion, up by 2.5% compared to 2018, when the inter-annual growth rate amounted to 13.7%. Meanwhile, companies with a real estate consulting profile billed €340 million euros, up by 6.3% compared to 2018, revealing a more moderate slowdown in this case.
