Although the price per m2, in total, fell by 3.6% year-on-year in Spain, to 1,429 euros, nine autonomous communities reported increases.
Rising prices were reported in Extremadura (30%), the Canary Islands (12.9%), the Balearic Islands (11.5%), Cantabria (9.6%), Valencia (7.5%), Andalusia (3.9%), Murcia (1.7%), Madrid (0.7%) and Castilla-La Mancha (0.7%). In contrast, prices fell in Navarre (-32%), La Rioja (-23.2%), Aragon (-13.8%), Galicia (-6.4%), the Basque Country (-5.9%), Castile and Leon (-5.8%), Asturias (-5.6%) and Catalonia (-4.2%).
