Positive data for the Spanish hotel sector. According to data from the INE, during the month of February, overnight stays in hotel establishments exceeded 13.6 million, which represents an increase of 458.9% compared to the same month in 2021 when the figure amounted to 2.4 million.
By country of origin, overnight stays by travellers from Spain exceeded 6 million, whereby accounting for 44.2% of the total. On the other hand, overnight stays by non-residents exceeded 7.5 million.
