According to CBRE, office investment in Barcelona will exceed 545 million euros in the first half of the year, 73% more than in the same period last year.
Consequently, Barcelona’s office market is about to close its best first semester in thirteen years. “Barcelona had a very positive start to the year, with a first quarter with high investment volumes and very similar to those of the same period in 2020, when the effects of the pandemic had not yet impacted the market,” said Xavier Güell, director of the Barcelona office.
The 22@ district accounts for 97% of office investment in Barcelona. According to CBRE, Barcelona accounts for 88% of the total volume of office investment in Spain.
