Norges Bank has revealed its stake in the share capital of Inmobiliaria Colonial for the first time, after acquiring a package of 13.7 million direct shares and 1.6 million securities in the form of financial instruments, representing 3% of the firm’s capital.
The sovereign wealth fund manages Norway’s pension scheme, which is financed by oil surpluses. And it is no stranger to Spain given that it holds investments in half a dozen listed Spanish companies. Iberdrola is the firm in which it holds its largest stake: Norges Bank owns 3.1% of the energy company, valued at 2.3 billion euros, equivalent to 52% of its total portfolio, as reported to the CNMV. It also holds shares in BBVA, Cellnex, CaixaBank, Sabadell and Indra. And now, in the real estate Socimi Colonial.
