In the fourth quarter of 2020, the average price of new-build homes in the municipality of Madrid stood at 4,546 euros per square metre, which represents a rise of 5% compared to the previous quarter. Meanwhile, the average ticket of a home for sale was 554,683 euros, according to data from the Brains Re platform.
In contrast, the price of second-hand properties reached 4,103 euros per square metre during the fourth quarter and the average purchase price stood at 501,625 euros.
