The alternative asset will be built on a 26,000 square metre plot in Barcelona’s Zona Franca. The building will have 23,000 square metres of constructed space on four floors, with twelve halls each.
Of the total €100-million investment, just €30 million will go into building the complex and auxiliary systems. The remaining €70 million will be for equipment and facilities to guarantee service continuity.
The data centre will have a capacity of 24 MW at full capacity. To meet the demand, it will have wind turbines on the roof and solar panels on the façade.
