It’s the home stretch for the macro-operation involving portfolio Tree. Between 2022 and early 2023, Merlin Properties expects to sell the portfolio of branches and buildings that it leases to BBVA.
For the time being, Merlin is looking for candidates to put offers on the table. After its plans to sell the portfolio, which is not considered strategic in its business plans, were leaked to the press, the Socimi has been negotiating the sale with several candidates. Interested parties include pension funds and insurance companies, as well as traditional real estate investors.
