The logistics sector proved itself to be one of the most resistant segments at the national level in 2020, a year dominated by the significant impact of the Covid-19 crisis. The logistics sector continued to enjoy a golden era, especially in Madrid, where rentals registered an increase of 74% compared to the figure recorded in 2019.
In the last quarter of last year, 270,000 square metres of logistics space was contracted, almost double the volume leased in the final quarter of 2019, according to data from the consulting firm Knight Frank.
